About the Author Dr. Christopher Ryan is an American author and psychologist. Ryan holds a Bachelor's degree in English and American literature and a Master's and doctoral degree in Psychology. His varied odd jobs all over the globe provided him with vast multicultural experiences, which he tapped into while researching for his book, Sex at Dawn. Cacilda Jetha is an African author and psychiatrist of Indian ancestry. Born in Mozambique, she received most of her education and medical training in Portugal. She returned to Mozambique after the completion of her studies and devoted seven years of her life to helping people in the rural district north of the country. During this time, she was funded by the World Health Organization to conduct research on the sexual behavior of rural Mozambicans.
